Announced by Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on 18 Feb, 2025 during his Budget 2025 speech, this landmark programme will provide every Singaporean aged 18 and above with S$100 in credits. These credits can be used for a wide range of local cultural experiences – from arts performances and museum exhibitions, to heritage activities, guided tours or even hands-on workshops.

The credits will be valid for three years – from September 2025 till the end of December 2028.

Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Edwin Tong emphasised the significance of this initiative in his recent Facebook post: "Singapore's arts and heritage scene has come a long way – growing in depth, diversity, and excellence. From world-class performances to captivating exhibitions and immersive experiences, our artists and cultural practitioners have been pushing boundaries and sharing stories that are uniquely Singaporean, both at home and on the global stage".

The initiative aims to achieve two key goals: Making the arts more accessible while supporting local talents. "This initiative is about more than just access to the arts – it will also deepen Singaporeans' appreciation and participation in our local arts and heritage. In turn, this will support our homegrown talents, enhance the arts and culture experience, and bring alive the rich tapestry of stories that make us who we are," Minister Tong explained.
