Singapore dance competition Super 24 celebrates 11 years with a record 74 teams from the region

Calling all dance enthusiasts and rhythm experts! The region’s most prestigious Super 24 dance competition by O School is back bigger than ever with its 11th edition. With a record-breaking number of secondary schools teams joining the fray, internationally renowned judges and the largest audience in Super 24 history, this epic celebration of dance and creativity will culminate in the grand finale, shaking the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 18 August 2024.

Scaling new heights and beyond

Gone are the days when Super 24 was just a local school competition. Over the years, this dance competition has evolved into a prestigious must-attend event in the regional arts scene, attracting teams from across Southeast Asia and even as far as Australia.

Super 24 transformed the landscape of dance competitions with the world’s first four-sided performance format. In this groundbreaking mega crew event, teams of 24 members deliver a 90-second routine on an 8m x 8m stage, presenting their artistry to judges positioned on all four sides.

This year, Super 24 is pushing boundaries yet again with a record 31 teams gearing up to represent their schools in the Secondary category, while an additional 43 teams will compete in the Open and Tertiary categories. Audiences will get to see local and international teams from Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, The Philippines and more battling it out on stage before Super 24's largest-ever crowd of over 15,000 spectators.

Esteemed judges from all around the world will also be in attendance, providing artistic insights through performances and workshops. Fans of Waackxxxy, once a contestant on the popular dance show Street Woman Fighter, can look forward to seeing this star choreographer as a judge at Super 24.
