Intergenerational Reminiscence Playback Theatre
Playback is an improvisational theatre. Using elements of physical movement, cloth, music, and spoken word, we spontaneously enact stories shared by the audience.
Actors and participants will play with basic forms used in Playback Theatre, and also experience the playback process where personal stories are shared and enacted spontaneously. Finally, they will explore how these stories reflect the current concerns of the community, and how the process is therapeutic, and can lead to personal and social change.
With a commitment of about 36 hours spread over 15 training days, participants will have ample time to immerse themselves in the techniques of playback theatre and Intergenerational interactions.
If you are a teen aged 14 to 19 years old, a "young" senior or senior aged 50 years and above, we warmly invite you to join us for a diverse and enriching experience through playback theatre.
