Koko is a village boy with a lively imagination, so life by the river is never dull. When he ventures beyond the riverbank, he embarks on an exciting adventure to the place where the river meets the sea. Does Koko take a step in the great beyond?
Join the little adventurer in his imaginative journey, as he braves his fear of the unknown and embraces the fun that it will bring. Come take his hand and go on this journey together with Koko The Great!
Adapted from the book Koko the Great by Natalie Hennedige, illustrated by Twisstii, published by National Gallery Singapore and inspired by Singaporean artist Liu Kang’s oil painting, Life by the River.
PIP Says
This is a physical theatre performance with minimal text. Through expressive movement and visuals, children experience the importance of taking responsibility for their choices as Koko discovers his own strength.

Relaxed Performance
A Relaxed Performance (RP) provides a welcoming and relaxed environment for those who are on the autism spectrum or have sensory sensitivities. Special modifications are incorporated into the performance to make it relaxed.

Assistive listening system is available for this venue. Hearing aid users with a Telecoil-enabled programme can benefit from the system provided. Please arrive at the venue 30 min before the performance so we can assist with the setup.

- Admission is subject to tickets produced at the entrance.
- All patrons including infants in arms must purchase ticket for admission.
- Recommended for children aged 3 to 6.
- Audience will be seated on the floor.

- Latecomers will be admitted during suitable breaks, if any.
